Shortly after stalling, the final Tacoma Rail train headed to Frederickson, WA gets moving again.

Rolling into Frederickson, Tacoma Rail's SD70ACe-P4 duo pulls a short train up to Allred Junction on a cloudy January day. The days are numbered for this operation as only weeks are left.

Just before noon Tacoma Rails Hill Job has escaped the Port of Tacoma and takes a short 10 car train up the hill with the two SD70s as the power.

After clearing a tree off the tracks Tacoma Rails Hill Job is underway on the 3.8% grade as they lift the first of two cuts to 85th Street.

With 26 cars for Frederickson behind the two SD70ACe-P4s, the hill job slowly makes it way up the 3 percent grade at 46th Street.
